Job Title: Senior Equities Research Analyst
Position Overview:
The Senior Equities Research Analyst will be responsible for driving high conviction stock selection through deep fundamental research and proprietary insights. The successful candidate will partner closely with portfolio managers to generate, underwrite, and monitor investments that contribute meaningfully to portfolio performance. This role requires strong quantitative skills, financial modeling experience, and the ability to communicate complex findings to portfolio managers and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead fundamental research on existing and prospective portfolio companies, including detailed financial statement analysis, valuation work, competitive positioning, and management quality assessment.
Build, maintain, and refine robust, fully integrated financial models to forecast revenues, margins, cash flows, and returns under multiple scenarios.
Generate differentiated, actionable long term investment ideas and clearly articulate the investment thesis, key value drivers, and risk/reward profile.
Work closely with portfolio managers on position sizing, entry and exit strategy, and ongoing risk management for covered names.
Monitor covered sectors and holdings on an ongoing basis, including earnings results, guidance changes, corporate actions, industry data, regulatory developments, and macro drivers.
Prepare clear, concise written research, including investment memos, model summaries, and periodic updates for the investment committee and senior leadership.
Meet regularly with company management teams, competitors, suppliers, customers, and industry experts; attend conferences and investor days to deepen understanding and test theses.
Mentor and develop junior analysts/associates, providing guidance on research process, modeling standards, and effective communication of views.
Uphold the firm’s highest standards of integrity, compliance, and fiduciary duty in all research activities and interactions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative discipline; MBA and/or CFA charter (or near completion) strongly preferred.

Typically 5–8+ years of relevant equity research or fundamental investing experience, with at least several years on the buy side or directly supporting portfolio managers.
Demonstrated track record of generating successful investment ideas, including clear evidence of value creation or alpha contribution over time.
Deep sector expertise in one or more industries (e.g., Industrials, Technology, Healthcare, Consumer, Financials), with the ability to ramp quickly in adjacent areas.
Strong understanding of capital markets, accounting, valuation techniques (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions, sum of the parts), and portfolio construction concepts.
Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with financial software and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly, both in writing and verbally.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the capacity to work long hours in a high-pressure environment.

Advanced financial modeling and equity valuation skills (Excel and other analytical tools; familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar platforms).
